Recognising that some people do not wish to come to church in current circumstances, while to others being able to attend services in person is very important, we have amended the service pattern for the rest of January and February. These changes hopefully offer something to those who want to attend and those who would rather watch online.
Where the main Sunday service is Morning Prayer (second and fourth Sundays), that will be a streamed service with live congregation. On the first and third Sundays there will be a Eucharist at 10.30am for personal attendance, plus a streamed Evening Prayer at 5pm. This is set out by date below.
I will continue to circulate the link for the streamed services the day before, so those not on the e-mail distribution list will need to contact me to be added. Tuesday Eucharists will continue at 10am. Please note that this plan may have to change if regulations change, and we will review the situation towards the end of February.
The services have been put on our Events page but the most up-to-date information can be found on our Facebook page below.
Social Distancing measures remain in place and in line with Government guidelines for Tier 2, in particular, there should be NO socialising between different households.
In summary the service pattern is as follows:
|Every Tuesday||10 am BCP Holy Communion|
|1st and 3rd Sundays||10:30 am Eucharist|
|2nd and 4th Sundays||10:30 am Streamed Morning Prayer|
|5th Sunday||10:00 am Group Eucharist|
